    Team USA nipped Argentina yesterday with a 109-83 W, marking a 7-0 tourney record and an official return to the gold medal game. Average margin of victory through these seven games has been 36 points but felt like the 83 they laid on Nigeria last Thursday. They’ve controlled the paint, gotten to the cup, and canned threes with such aplomb you’d be hard pressed to find a more dominant USA assemblage. Sure the 1992 Dream Team had a 43.8 point average margin of victory, fielded MJ, Magic and Larry, and remains the greatest team in sports history. But the 2012 international talent is leaps ahead of its 1992 counterparts. Which team has done the job best? Maybe we should wait until the new kids play Spain to decide.
