Every sneaker site has posted this Nike LeBron X shoe in the last 24 hours with the presumption of it being real. Every sneaker site is wrong.
We checked with our retail sources and there is no LeBron X style built to spec and pictured as seen here.
Some have floated this as a new “Championship” shoe. Wrong.
Some have floated this as the “Christmas” shoe coming. Wrong.
The random Instagram account the photo was originally pulled from captions the staged red, black, and gold shoe graphic as LeBron’s “Pre-Season” model. This is wrong too. LeBron typically doesn’t even wear his game shoes in the NBA pre-season.
A cursory look at the name of the Instagram account holder would have led you back on a simple Google search to the personal homepage of johnaslarona.com, who describes his work as of the “visual designs” nature with a bounty of expertly manipulated imagery on display everywhere. Or in more common language, that boy is a Grade-A Photoshop whiz kid.
So yes, of course this LeBron X is real.
