With Dwyane Wade putting Li-Ning in the spotlight like never before with his Way of Wade signature shoe, it’s prime time to take note of the brand’s other high profile sneaks. Like Evan Turner’s ET 002.
Turner is more or less “the man” on the 76ers squad now, that is, if he wants it. The team’s roster was drastically overhauled when Elton Brand was amnestied in July and eight-year vet Andre Iguodala was sent to Denver in August during the Olympics. ET is the young swingman the Sixers are building around so it’s fitting that Li-Ning gave him a sig shoe with his name on it.
It’s a progression from the Turningpoint model he closed out the 2012 season with and is tuned to match his game. Will be interesting to see what he does in it and how Li-Ning is reintroduced to America and beyond.
