After a little preview yesterday, here’s the full adidas unveil of the D Rose 3.5 x Jeremy Scott today. Mr. Scott personally designed these white, yellow and cherub kicks for Derrick, even presenting Derrick with the first pair when the two adidas leaders met in Los Angeles on June 27.
“I can’t thank Jeremy enough for creating this shoe,” said Rose in an adidas press release. “I love sneakers and to have Jeremy take his time to create a shoe for me is crazy. This shoe is so cool, and having a chance to meet with Jeremy and talk about how he comes up with some of his designs was really fun.”
The shoe goes with white patent leather across the upper with printed cherubs frolicking in adidas kicks, holding dollar signs, and blasting music. Yellow provides some contrast while the D Rose logo is stamped in black on the tongue, the Jeremy Scott logo on the other side.
“I really wanted to meld my world and Derrick’s world,” said Jeremy Scott in the press release. “I used his shoes as a canvas and created the coolest cherubs in the world for this shoe.”
The D Rose 3.5 x Jeremy Scott will release as a limited edition on July 6 to spots like Bait, Kith, Leaders 1354, Millennium Shoes, Oneness, and Packer Shoes.
