Since the knit craze hit two years ago pre-2012 Olympics, adidas and Nike have been frontrunners for the technology. Now we have the adidas adizero Primeknit Boost, combining two of adidas’ top technologies. Too much or just the start?

What came first, Flyknit or Primeknit? No one knows, and judges and lawyers tried to figure it out, but here is the good news – we the public get to decide, since adidas has finally made the states with a knitted upper. Nike may have gotten the jump start but don’t think adidas is behind the curve.
So what do you, loyal reader, get with a knitted shoe? Well, that comes later in the piece, but I can tell you my highpoint was still the Boost. Any shoe with Boost is a winner, and if you haven’t tried it you better get on the wagon before the D Rose 5 hits. I can say, on first opening, the shoe is light for a Boost midsole. Much lighter than the Energy Boost and Springblade. Let’s get them on the road (and treadmill, and gym)…
